27 May 2023 Creventic Series: Monza – Second round (12h race)
Another great victory for our GT4 Team.
Good start In qualifying, scoring 2 pole positions: in the 992 Category with the young and very fast Matteo Kuenzer and in the GT4 with the expert Riccardo Lamoglie.
Then, our weekend in Monza was definitely sweet and sour. Unfortunately our car n.16 of the992 category was touched on the first chicane after start when in first position and caused our withdrawal.
As for the GT4 category, our cars n.8 and 86 dominated up to 2 hours from the end when the dream of the one-two victory vanished due to a lapped car hitting our n.86, in second position, thus causing our second withdrawal.
Our car n.8 finished with a well-deserved victory setting also the fastest lap.
WIRT thanks the drivers for the incredible work done during the event preparation and the engineers plus box-crew who supported the race in an impeccable way.
